Effective October 6, 2026.
arc is a personal tool. Its only user is its developer, James Seaborn.
What it accesses. With read-only permission (the YouTube Data API scope youtube.readonly), arc lists the videos in one YouTube playlist owned by the signed-in account. It cannot change, add to or delete anything on YouTube.
What it keeps. The video IDs and titles it lists are used to fetch those public videos into a private archive on the user's own computer. The access grant is stored in that computer's macOS Keychain.
What it shares. Nothing. No data is sold, shared, or sent to any third party, and nothing is used for advertising.
Revoking access. Remove arc at myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time.
